(More customer reviews)Ordered 2 for end tables by couch.They are well constructed and quite attractive.The wood base is substantial but the open design keeps them from overwhelming the room.Stained glass shade is gorgeous -- colors are warm, design is clean.I love the pull chains -- easy to turn on and off, and you can turn on just one bulb or both.2 -- 60W bulbs per lamp is plenty of light for the living room.
The only problem we've experienced is that the bulbs are level with the bottom edge of the shade so if the lamp is higher than your seating area next to it, the bulbs shine directly into your eyes.The bottom edge of the shade is 17 1/2 inches above the table top if you want to measure before you buy.
