(More customer reviews)Don't waste your money! The support shaft on this lamp will not even support the globes. It is made in sections with stamped threads in the support poles. The sections are supposed to be held together by short die-cast sections of mating threads. Both threads are very poorly made & WILL NOT stay together. This is a complete rip-off! I did get some satisfaction in jamming the whole into my garbage can, knowing that I could forget that I ever bought it! But, otherwise, it's a great product :)

(More customer reviews)I ordered the White 5 arm arch floor lamp with Amazon free shipping option on Sunday night and received it Tuesday afternoon. love buying from Amazon! This is a lamp quite easy to assembly but need 2 people to hold the rod and arms. Someone complaints this is too heavy to assembly but definitely i see it as a plus for the build. Love this lamp. I recommend it. besides, every website states that the light bulbs are not included which is not true. 5-40 watts bulbs are nicely placed inside the shipment. You can use the lamp right after setting it up.

(More customer reviews)My living room has no lights in the ceiling, so I needed something for light. This lamp tucks under the sofa and when it's on bright, it lights up the whole area. I love that it can be dimmed as well! My brother has one, and it just turned on and off, so I assumed this one did too, since it was way cheaper than what he spent ($250) so it was a pleasant surprise. I got it within 3 days of ordering it, it came on Christmas eve, I thought I'd have to wait until after the holiday rush. Again, pleasantly suprised! All bulbs are still working, and lamp seems very durable. I'm very happy with the product and the company who sold it.

(More customer reviews)This shipment comes in two boxes, the base, and the arms of the lamp. When I received it the first time, all i got was the extremely heavy base. We're talking a 40-50 pound disc shaped stone. I had no idea that this was part of the lamp, because I didnt receive any other parts, so I returned it and asked for another shipment.

After waiting 3-4 weeks because it was out of stock, I finally received BOTH boxes, but much to my dismay, the base was not packaged as well this time and had large chunks chipped off. I returned it for a refund.

Maybe if someone gets a working lamp they can accurately gauge the finished product, but I give it a one star because I never got there.

(More customer reviews)I just got this lamp last night and set it up. It was packaged securely in itsbox. It assembled easily without any tools being needed. Everything just screws together by hand.

One of the coolest things about this that is unadvertised is how the switch works. It has three positions. Click it once and all five lights come on. Click it again and three go off, leaving two lights on. Click it again and the two lights go off and the other 3 come on. One more click and everything's off. It's a nice alternative to a dimmer switch.

You can put the pink/white shades on the lamp in any positions you want. They easily are removed but are securely fastened with a nut when in position. Colors are as I expected and actually look better in person than I expected from the photograph.

I use this light to illuminate a room that is about 12' x 12' and it does a good job. If I'm on the other side of the room it might be a tiny bit dim to read by but still well lit. The five 40-watt bulbs (the wattage required) give off a lot of light without seeming harsh like one 200-watt bulb would, and since there are five bulbs the shadows are softer.

The cord on this lamp is a little short. I didn't measure but I think it's around three or four feet long. The cord is white.

This product is listed as being five feet tall, which it appears to be. When I first saw it together I thought it looked a little short, not that it was shorter than five feet, but just that I didn't realize five feet was that short. I expected this to reach more to the ceiling which it does not. Still, once I got it together and turned on I think it's beautiful and I'm completely satisfied with how it lights up my room. I have it beside my bed with most of the lights pointing up but one pointing down as a reading lamp, which works quite nicely.

You won't be disappointed!

(More customer reviews)Straight out of the 50's and 6o's, this heavy duty, well-made lamp speaks contemporary and traditional languages with ease. My only concern at first was that the arms of the lamp were stiff and pointed ceiling-ward. With time, though, tension in the arms has relaxed and the arms highlight contemporary paintings. I especially love the dimmer switch. Pricewise this lamp is outstanding.

Ore International 5 Arm Arch Floor Lamp

(More customer reviews)I purchased this lamp to replace a similar styled but smaller lamp behind my sectional sofa.The old lamp was the type that screwed together in several sections and tended to fall over as the threads were stripping out.I mention this because this lamp consisted of three pieces - the base, the bottom section, and the top section.The lamp assembled securely and I am confident that this will last - unlike the other reviewer I did not have any issue with the spot welds and do not recollect them at all (The lamp is behind the couch - I don't look at the base much).

The biggest complaint that I have with this lamp is that it does not use traditional light bulbs, so I cannot put in the CFL bulbs that I removed from the old lamp.This lamp uses the smaller base bulbs (I don't know what they are called) and does come with all five bulbs.When I first put the lamp together I was concerned that the 5 40-watt bulbs would not put out adequate light, but I am pleased to say that the lamp is pretty bright and I usually turn the dimmer-style switch to about half way as it is enough light.

I would certainly purchase this again.
