(More customer reviews)A very attractive and functional desk lamp.Not too large, not too small . . . just right.Nice bright white light.Goose neck allows it to be turned to any position.Bulb doesn't become too hot. Not necessary to touch the portion of the lamp that contains the bulb as it does get warm, but you can move the lamp by grasping the top portion of the goose neck to position the lamp anywhere you would like the light to shine.Great for a desk or bedside table.Nice toggle switch on the base of the lamp.One brightness alone, but that's fine. Very attractive light.I couldn't be happier with it and would recommend it to anyone for their desk or bedside table or even a bookshelf.

(More customer reviews)Don't waste your money! The support shaft on this lamp will not even support the globes. It is made in sections with stamped threads in the support poles. The sections are supposed to be held together by short die-cast sections of mating threads. Both threads are very poorly made & WILL NOT stay together. This is a complete rip-off! I did get some satisfaction in jamming the whole into my garbage can, knowing that I could forget that I ever bought it! But, otherwise, it's a great product :)

(More customer reviews)I bought two of these, and I will say up front that they are sturdy and gorgeous. The one complaint involves the assembly process. It is difficult to attach the legs to the base. My son and I tried for an hour, then gave up. I finished the next night with another person's help. There is some sort of washer that doesn't fit around the bolt as well as it should, and the nut is difficult to thread onto the bolt. Sounds like it should be easy, I know, but it took a while. Here's a tip -- you'll have to hold the lamp upside down to even attempt to attach the base, hence the need for two people. Again -- these are really nice lamps, just have a friend ready and willing to help you with assembly.

(More customer reviews)The lamps that I ordered were out of stock, yet Vision Decor charged me for them and sent me 'shipping information' for a non existent shipment.

Vision Decor then contacted me directly, explained the mistake and offered to substitute the lamps I ordered with a different style.Their representative offered me a pick of their catalog as replacements, even though their other lamps were significantly more expensive than the one I ordered.So I chose a similar style as a replacement.I was informed this particular model was discontinued.Then I chose another, and another, and both additional times was also informed that these styles were no longer available.

I was about to select a 4th style as a possible replacement when I received an email from Amazon explaining that I had been refunded the money from my original purchase, even though I was trying to obtain lamps from Vision Decor as replacements for the 2 lamps that had originally ordered.When I contacted Vision Decor and asked why my money had been refunded, I was informed that their system automatically refunds orders that have not been satisfactorily closed after 7 days.

As 'compensation' I was offered a 15% discount on any single item they had in stock, even though they wasted over a week of my time and I had originally ordered 2 lamps, not one.The company was horrible - I would never order from them again.That being said - their representative was very pleasant and did try to assist me to no avail.

Due to the large shade, it has a few drawbacks: its awkward to put together (2ppl would be better), and it's so dark.For a 100 watt bulb, you would need a few of these to just get decent light.returning it is a hassle, so I am going to look for another shade.The base and touch on/off switch is nice. Due to the horribale shade this gets 1 star.

(More customer reviews)This shipment comes in two boxes, the base, and the arms of the lamp. When I received it the first time, all i got was the extremely heavy base. We're talking a 40-50 pound disc shaped stone. I had no idea that this was part of the lamp, because I didnt receive any other parts, so I returned it and asked for another shipment.

After waiting 3-4 weeks because it was out of stock, I finally received BOTH boxes, but much to my dismay, the base was not packaged as well this time and had large chunks chipped off. I returned it for a refund.

Maybe if someone gets a working lamp they can accurately gauge the finished product, but I give it a one star because I never got there.

It looks good with black/white living room designs. I wish there was a dimmer connected to the cable, but unfortunately there is not one, so you can only switch it on/off by stepping on the switch.

Very easy to assemble. It took me just 15 minutes.
