The bowl of the lamp is made of what looks like cheap grade plastic.The pole section of the lamp came in three or four parts.One of those parts had a defective thread, so that the section which was supposed to be screwed on top of that one would not screw in straight or even all the way.Overall, the product felt like it was too cheaply made for the price.I returned this product and received a refund.
