(More customer reviews)The harp and bulbs were easy to install. They are a definitely brighter than the regular 3-ways I used to use though, even on the lowest setting. The lowest setting has the brightness of the middle setting of a regular 3 way.

The harp in a standard table or floor lamp is too small for a CFL energy saving bulb, and the right-sized harp is hard to find (stores usually have to order them). Harp & saddle measurements: 9" from the top of the harp (not including the 1/4-27 thread riser) to the bottom of the assembled saddle; light duty harp with 1/8 IP saddle & 1/4-27 thread. The ALZO 3-way energy saving light bulb fits any medium screw base (E27, same as common light bulbs) and produces a warm white light, ideal as a room light. The 12-20-26 Watt power consumption equals a 50-80-100 Watt light output.
