(More customer reviews)I ordered this lamp on Wed. and it arrived Friday, great shipping time.The dimensions are a little off, for if you place the first top section straight up you can get a heigth of 44 inches, and with the second section extended up as far as it will go gives an overall height of 48 inches.See my photo.The color is a darker red than shown, which I like much better.The two negative qualities were that to tighten the adjustment on the globe to sit straight out from the top section as shown in the photo, you have to use plyers, as trying to hand tighten will not hold it. Second, the switch is a togle on the cord itself so you have to place the lamp where you can reach this easily. Which in my case was not a problem. Also, the cord itself comes out of the back of the globe and runs down to the bottom adjustable arm and then out, which is not reflected in the picture.This gives a nice light to read by, the lamp is small so it does not over power the space. If the height and switch are not a problem for where you want to place the lamp, this really is a great buy.
